Ribs recipes are a perennial favorite and this one won’t disappoint. Add salt, pepper and veggies to the slow cooker for an easy recipe that will have everyone patting their tummies in contentment.
.Ingredients:
Chairman’s Reserve® bone-in beef short ribs (about 5 pounds)
Kosher salt and black pepper
1 tablespoon salted butter
4 yellow onions, thinly sliced
2 cups apple cider
6 carrots, chopped
2 tablespoons chopped fresh thyme
Directions:
- Season the short ribs with salt and pepper. Place beef, carrots, onion, thyme and apple cider in a slow cooker set to low and cook for 8 hours.
- Remove beef, carrots and onions from slow cooker and serve with roasted Brussels sprouts as an optional side.
